Home-made healthy pizza
- 1 small pizza base for each person, or a larger sized one for the whole family
- Tinned chopped tomatoes
- Grated cheddar or Edam (2oz (50g) per small pizza)
- Selection of chopped vegetables- tomatoes, mushrooms, onions, sweetcorn, pepper (etc)
- Tinned pineapple chunks Tuna, chopped lean ham or chicken, prawns
- Mixed herbs/ black pepper
- Spread tinned tomatoes onto pizza bases and add chosen toppings.
- Sprinkle on grated cheese (try using reduced fat and see if anyone spots the difference), mixed herbs and pepper.
- Place straight on the oven shelf (so you get a crisps base) and cook on a medium heat for approx 15 minutes.
- Serve with salad if wanted.
