Chilli con carne
- 3oz lean mince per person
- Chopped vegetables- onions, peppers, courgettes, peas, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, sweetcorn, peas, leeks
- Tinned chopped tomatoes
- Mixed herbs
- Can of kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
- ½ mug rice per person
- Cook the mince and vegetables as in the above recipes, then add the kidney beans.
- Serve over boiled rice.
- Add the vegetables and stock, then cook for approximately 30 minutes (or until cooked).
- Serve with mashed potato and vegetables.
