Chilli con carne

Chilli con carne

  • 3oz lean mince per person
  • Chopped vegetables- onions, peppers, courgettes, peas, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, sweetcorn, peas, leeks
  • Tinned chopped tomatoes
  • Mixed herbs
  • Can of kidney beans (drained and rinsed)
  • ½ mug rice per person

 

  1. Cook the mince and vegetables as in the above recipes, then add the kidney beans.
  2. Serve over boiled rice.
  3. Add the vegetables and stock, then cook for approximately 30 minutes (or until cooked).
  4. Serve with mashed potato and vegetables.
